2005 Bollinger La Grande Année Brut för 1600 kr är det bra?

För mig är Bolly GA 2005 ett riktigt botten napp. För 1600SEK finns det massvis med bättre Champagner.

2005 Bollinger La Grande Année Rich and spicy on the nose, hints of oxidation and volatile acidity appear as the glass warms. When well chilled, this is quite tasty, offering plenty of creamy biscuit and fruit, but warmth and air are not this wine's friends; it becomes almost flabby and definitely out-of-sorts. Bruised apple, fruit wax, empty citrus, and then a complete lack of finish becomes apparent over a couple hours. It is time for Bollinger to admit that the house’s 2005s have serious problems. The wines, especially the vintage ones, are not only underperforming, but they are some of the worst buys in the entire wine world. About the only positive is that this wine shows extreme bottle variation so you just might get a great bottle, but at this price, who wants to take a chance? (30% Chardonnay, 70% Pinot Noir; Fermented and aged in oak; First fermentation under cork; Disgorged mid-2015; No sulfur added at disgorgement; 6 g/L dosage; $100-150 US)

2005 Bollinger La Grande Année Brut för 1600 kr är det bra?

Relativt nypris för GA 12 så ja. Relativt kvalitén så nej.

Det får väl sägas vara ett klart överkomligt pris ute.
Har inte druckit Bolly 2005 men andra som Heidsieck, Henriot och Bonnaire har varit trevliga och klara att börja dricka.

Tycker 05 generellt är en riktigt svag årgång. Osäker på om jag smakat just Heidsieck och Henriot men tror det. Bonnaire har jag inte prövat.

De två senaste gångerna jag fått 05 blint (Bara & André Jacquart) har jag gissat rätt årgång just för att det "saknas" något i smaken. T.o.m. 06 är bättre.

GA 05 är den sämsta GA jag druckit så där håller jag med. GA Rosé 05 är däremot riktigt bra.

Gäller omdömet GA och RD generellt håller jag inte med. Drack GA och RD 96 nyligen och båda var fantastiska och RD 02 är inte helt odrickbar om man säger så...
