Idag drack vi, copy paste fr CT: 2010 Ferrer Bobet Priorat Vinyes Velles (Priorat) This wine needs some more years and will come out ablazing in ~3 yrs time. Today, it looks like blood with a violet streak. Has a powerful young-fruity nose with Grenache style brambles and a non-integrated behaviour on the palate. Fruit is huge and the little more than moderate acids still pierce through. The M+ tannins have their own little orchestra hidden behind the fruit. There is an integration problem, but time will mend. Did well with all courses except dessert. Would have married anything garlic. Wife: 89-90p. Three btls to go, next one in 2017. At magnificent La Rochelle in Tameikesan-o, Akasaka (Tokyo).
